Sauvez Britney!

evidently, even the french care. they changed the hanging ads in the middle of the metro car. either that or i'd just never been in one that had this ad. before it was all elle ads, but today they were ads for some tabloid mag (a la OK or US Weekly) and the left half was the picture of (i'm guessing) their most recent cover, where the headline was 'peut-on la sauver?' (i think) which means 'can anyone save her?' and the right half of the ad was something along the lines out 'comes out every saturday'

yesterday, as i was walking to the metro, i hear a 'pardon madame!' and this little boy scoots by me on his little scooter. cutest kid ever.
Quote of the Day: "Somewhere in the world, right this second, a little gay boy is making a plastic Zac Efron kiss another plastic Zac Efron."

oh no she di'in't....
after stalking other people's paris blogs, i re-realized that my blog is much more my blog than a hey-look-i'm-in-paris blog. hrm. oh well, i'm pretty sure my 5 readers are probably more interested in what i bought today than "history" or "cultural significance". at least sonha is.

i really like my french class. i think mondays are praticing-talking days, because all we did was talk and our professor told us the best ice cream place (bertillon) and about this restaurant that serves only cheese. and then we read asterix, a comic strip.

reformations of europe class today. down to three. i've decided that i add absolutely nothing to the class. i just sit there confused. we'll see how the health class goes. i'm still not ruling out dropping both of them and taking the engineering class, which is in english.

OMG ANGELINA'S. super famous hot chocolate. let me tell you, when you first sip this chocolate you discover taste buds that you never knew existed. your tongue is floating in creamy chocolate magma. it is more chocolate than chocolate itself.
after half a cup i felt like time had slowed down.after finishing the first cup (you get a mini pitcher that's good for about two cups) i felt like i was going to die. i was a fetus, floating in a sac of amniotic chocolate.
i couldn't finish the second cup. it was too much chocolateness. aaaah.
Angelina's also had yum yum yummy pastries. we got the mont blanc (house special), a pistachio one (because it was really pretty) and a chocolate raspberry thing (chocolate and raspberry!)

i really enjoyed the mont blanc

sunset over the tuileries. didnt actually go in, but i thought it looked pretty :-D
