and danced to "we're all in this together". it was fabulous.
koko the gorilla was a big fan of Mr. Rogers. when he went paid her a visit, koko gave him a hug, and then bent down to take off his shoes.
other joys at the disney store:unfortunately, i am not a sized 7-8 girls. and i am confused about cinderella. did a new [horrible] knockoff just come out? because in a bunch of the stuff i saw her dress was pink. and why are there two belles and two cinderellas and no aurora? or pochontas or mulan or megara or tinkerbell or jane...but they are not usually represented. and the two belles are identical! good thing i'm not a size 7-8 girls, i would not have been 100% happy with this.
i went to a wine and cheese tasting...delish! here, look at the wine. it's got hints of pineapple and pear. i was told this, of course, because it just smelled like wine to me.
and then the cheese and various meets plate! SO DELISH. now, the left cheese goes with the radishes, the roquefort in the corner goes with the celery, the hard cheese in the middle goes with the dried apricots, and the white cheese on the right goes with the apple slices. YUMMYand they had the little pickled onions too. love those things.
i went bowling. guess which C i am. it's my favorite number!
the light in my room burnt out. the french use HALOGEN light bulbs!at least, i think so. all i know is that it's strange and new and different. oooooh aaaah
musee d'orsay has a really cool view. good thing it was nice out. that's sacre coeur.
and saturday night i had a dinner party!and then an amazing night of charades. i wish i had cranium, it is seriously the best game ever.
my host parents are gone this week, this mean cathy cooks for herself! so exciting. or maybe cathy just buys pre-cooked food. we'll see how this goes.
