Thank you, Liz Claiborne

I just got this email, Wednesday, April 9:
Hi Catherine,

I apologize that I haven't replied to you but we just started receiving the requests from the business as to what their needs are for the summer. I wanted to check with you and make sure that you are still available and interested in the position. You are at the top of my list and I am about to send off your resume to the finance managers. Please let me know.

Thank you,

Sandra

Hi Sandra,

I've started hearing back from other companies about job offers, and I am wondering if there is any way you can speed up the hiring decision process. Obviously, I would rather be at Liz Claiborne this summer, but if that is not the case, then I have to take an offer at another company. I think I have a week before I need to get back to
anybody else, so hopefully that is enough time for me to find out. I left you a voicemail a couple of minutes ago, and I will probably call again in the afternoon.

Thank you,

Catherine
so. nineteen days later, a liz claiborne representative decides to grace me with her reply.
nineteen days is also, however, about twelve days over the time limit in which i had to give xerox my reply and nine days over the time limit in which i had to send them my pee in a cup.

i would still rather work in liz claiborne finance, in NYC, than in xerox sales, in Bluebell, PA. but, thanks to liz claiborne HR's wonderfully nonexistent replies to my five emails and four voicemails...xerox has my pee in a cup.

perhaps i'll wait nineteen days to reply to her...

do you think xerox is going to assay your urine in a lab, testing for drugs....or do they make an intern drink it to see if it is sweet to test for diabetes???

Wow It really seems like mister here did his homework! Great effort in constructing this information, I really got a new sense of what's going on. Well, at least we can call it an update to what I already knew. But it's good to have yourself really looking into this stuff and putting it out there. I probably would have not investigated this material in wow g-d knows how long. I can really say I picked up some knowledge from this piece and you can most definitely count me referring some readers to your page, thanks! Really enjoyed and it was my pleasure to read on!
