so i called today to see what i can actually do with my blue (flexible return date) ticket. i can change the date for $25. that is all. right now my flight is on united, which means i will route through either washington dc or chicago. so, since i must leave from paris, i don't know about my spring break plans. i feel like if i'm going someplace and i have to go back to paris, the return trip to paris is kind of a bad deal. i was considering going to amsterdam, but train tickets are 50€ one way. so, if i go to amsterdam for a couple of days, transport will set me back about 100€, lodging probably another 40-50€, and then probably another 100€ on food. and even though amsterdam would be awesome and everything, it doesnt get me 250€ excited. like, venice, was totally worth the ungodly amounts of money i spent.
spring break starts just before st patricks day. i still need to figure out if st patty's in DUBLIN would be worth the ungodly amounts of money. like, right now the cheapest flight i see is 180€ round trip.
or i could just go and be poor and make hellza money this summer. out of the four recruiters i've e-mailed for a phone interview, only one has gotten back to me. and he got back to me like an hour after i sent him the first email. now i need to learn lots about kayne anderson before next thursday. they're in LA, though, i dont know how i feel about that. well, i shouldn't worry about that yet, first i'll go see if the interview makes me cry.
on that note, who feels like going to the CDC for me and handing the interview people a phone? because nobody wants to give me a phone interview.
but YAY i'm done with my health midterm, art history paper and oral presentation. now i will try to explain in french what makes americans laugh. this should be interesting.
